Spain Golden Visa for Families 2026
One of the strongest selling points of the Spanish Golden Visa is its generous family reunification provisions. Unlike many other investment visa programmes, Spain allows the entire immediate family to obtain residency on the basis of a single investment.

Practical Timeline for Family Applications
Adding family members to a Golden Visa application typically adds 2–4 weeks to the process due to additional documentation. We recommend gathering all family documents in parallel with the property search to avoid delays.
NIE for All Family Members
Every family member needs a Spanish NIE before the application is submitted. Costa Expat processes NIEs for the full family — in Spain or via consulate abroad.
