Special Impatriates Regime
Beckham Law: 24% flat rate for 5 years
The Beckham Law (art. 93 LIRPF) allows new Spanish residents to be taxed as non-residents, with a flat 24% rate on the first €600,000 of income. This is especially advantageous for digital nomads with foreign-sourced income.
To opt into the regime you must apply within 6 months of your Social Security registration. It is not automatic: you must file Form 149 with the Tax Agency.
